Nice catch - the rusting light switch is a great touch...
So...what kind of building would have stood next to this one?
Is there any other architectural evidence? It looks like a floor was pulled out and some brick was lost.
Can you share a larger picture of the area?
Looks like my first college dorm room (minus the great view). Great catch... as always.
Hmmm.. this reminds me instantly of a particular scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's the scene when Eddie Valiant (Hoskins) enters a bathroom door, trying to ditch a crazed female toon. He opens the door, only to find that the rest of the room, and building is gone. He then falls, meeting Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse along the way...
