Mickey and Minnie turn 79 today, so I thought it was only fitting to devote today's post to the mice that started it all.
The Carthay Circle Theatre store in Disney-MGM Studios is filled with wonderful Disney memoribilia from years past - here are just a few of the many displays. See if you have any of these pieces in your own collection.

Wow I can't believe that I have never been in that store... where is it at MGM??
The Carthay Circle Theatre store is located on Sunset Boulevard. It is the last building on the right hand of the street as you walk towards Tower of Terror. It typically sells kitchen items or Christmas decorations.
Though I have been up and down Sunset Blvd. several times, I never visited the store until this past October. I loved the propping. Oh, and Happy Birthday Mick!
Great stuff! I was a cast member at that shop (and others on Sunset Blvd) a decade ago!
Thanks for sharing, Jessica.
Maybe next year, you'll neeed to have your own meet! The Jessica Tour: All the trash cans, park benches and crates you can see!
