Don't Look Here!

At the far end of the MuppetVision 3D queue is a curious wall that just begs to be explored. In true Muppet fashion, it uses reverse psychology to invite the viewer to do just the opposite of what is asked.

If you peek through the peepholes (which of course, you can't help but do!), you'll find pipework. Normally, this would be hidden completely from guest view, but here the not-so-glamorous is embraced and given a Muppet makeover with hilarious results.

I don't know if this is a common known story, but I'll share it here anyway...These pipes look as if they were inspired by a set of pipes that Jim Henson and associates painted in 1964 at the NBC Studios in New York while rehearsing for The Jack Parr Show. The pipes are in a closet in a dressing room, somewhere near the LATE NIGHT studio and they are still there to this day.

Thanks for the shots!

There is so much I still haven't seen at WDW!

That's a very interesting bit of information Ed, thank you for sharing! I wonder if the Imagineers were consciously aware of those pipes, or were just having some fun on their own?
